What have I´ve been up to this weekend?

Friday- Worked and went straight home after that.. Talked to Anna on Skype like all night long! :D

Saturday- Worked between 8.15am- 3.30 pm.. Then after work I went to Ulrika´s place and made her "Sambalburgers" and had some "Glögg"!! I looooove "Glögg"!!! During the night we watched a movie, played "Monopoly" and Cluedo and then we started a puzzle... Rock and roll on a saturdaynight! LOL ;)

Sunday- Well, today i´ve been baking "lussebullar" and i´ve also been cleaning my room! I love it when my room is clean and fresh! :D


Tomorrow it´s time to work at the bakery again! Better get some sleep!

 Today it´s the 24th of novemeber and 19 years since Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara) left the earth...

Freddie Mercury was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Queen which i grew up with since my mum has loved them since she was very young... That´s why the 24th of november always has been a day of sorrow in our house...

The world will NEVER have a entertainer like Freddie! He was unique and his music will live on forever and ever!
Queen really was a "one of a kind" band and they have written some of the worlds most famoust songs like: We are the champions, We will rock you, The show must go on, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio GaGa and my personal favorite Somebody to love... And of course MANY MANY MOOOORE!!!

Freddie died on the 24th of november 1991 from Aids.

Todays class was LOVELY as usual! You feel the rhythm in your blood and you really can see the africans dancing in your head!

There´s usually like 150 of us, dancing togeheter every monday and the energy is AMAZING! So, today our trainer started to cry!
She told us at the end of the class how amazing we look and that she loves our energy and that we gave her goosebumbs, the the tears came..
That gave ME goosebumbs!!!

I really love African dance!! :D

The weekend was very busy!

I worked at the koshercatering this weekend and we had so much to do! We made about 1130 portions(and we also baked bread to all of them) of food in 3 days.... So, this weekend i´ve been working 32 hours and I can feel it in my body.. My back is so sore and I feel exhausted!
So, i´m very glad that i´m off work (both of them) today!
Hopefully my sore back will feel better after the african dance tonight :D

Tomorrow i´m working at the retirementcentre and then i´m back at the bakery wednesday-saturday!


I went to the health centre today to see if a doctor could take a look at my nose ( i´ve had a ulcer in my nose for about 3 months now and a few days ago I was told that it could be a bacteria that I need antibiotics for... Scary!) but they told me to come back next week on tuesday instead.. Hopefully it won´t grow in to something worse in a week!


It´s almost dinnertime and then I have to get ready for the african dance :D

Anything new? Well, not really..... Today i´ve been working at the bakery 8am-4.30 pm and then I went home... Just another day in life.... Tomorrow, saturday and sunday i´ll be working at the Jewish catering and it´s going to be LOT´S of work I think... Tomorrow i´m working 9am-9pm so I better go take a shower and get some sleep soon....

By the way, I found a reciepe for "Baileysfudge" today!!!!!! OMG that must be CRAZYGOOD!!!!!!

Lately i´ve seen talented people all around me! My childhoodfriend Lana and her brother Ranj (watch his video on youtube! "Ranj- Catch 22") are 2 of them! And of course Rick Younger :)

The most recent talent i´ve seen/heard is a duet named "Oh my god" with 2 girls (Charlotte Nordin and Karin Wannbäck)  from Sweden! ( My dear friend Palmira knows Karin so that´s how I heard about them!) Their song "In my head" is FAAAAB!!!! I listen to it all the time now! They even relesed this song (and 2 more, "Elements" and "Snow") a few weeks ago on a CD!


Of course I want you to hear it, so here it is!!! :D Lovely lyrics and I LOOOVE their voices!

Christmas is almost here and I have to say that i´m exited! :)

I´m usually not exited for christmas but today I started to look thru my reciepes for all the candy that I always do for christmas! I can´t wait to do it all! :D

Until now I just had them in old magasines but I feel that it´s more secure to have them in my computer so tonight i´ve been writing it all down in a "word-document" :D

Monday was my day off this week so I slept until 12.30 (jeeeeeses that was NICE!!!) and then I went to the city to meet up with my dear friend Palmira!!! We meet like 1 time every 3rd month to update eachother on what´s up in our lifes over a cup of coffe and then we always end up talking about NYC (OF COURSE!!!! ;)

Yesterday we also talk about Anna of course! If you read this Anna.... I MISS YOU SOOOOOOOO!!!!! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

When I came home from the city I went to the african dance and shaked my ass as usual! It´s soooo FREAKING lovely! I like mondays I must say! :D

Today I worked 8am-3pm at the retirementhome.... Had a pretty slow and mellow morning but the afternoon was a living hell!

After work I went home to celebrate "Father´s day", we just had dinner and I gave him some flowers and a box of chocolate! After dinner I was SUPERSTRESSED because I had promised Ulrika to buy her a "Bingolott" so we could play tonight but I couldn´t find a open store that sells "Bingolotter" so I decided to print one from the internet.. But the server was down!!!! I called Ullis and said to her that she had to run to the store so she did and looked in several shops! I ran to the hospital (usally takes about 20 minutes to walk there but today it took 9-10 minutes)... None of us cold find a "Bingolott" at first but then Ulrika FINALLY found a store that had a "Bingolott" left!!! :D So we played and won 100 kr each and I got to leave my phonenumber!!! :D But I didn´t win, of course :(

Ulrika and I had a SUPERFUN night!!!! Thank you for that my dear!!! <3 <3 <3



Tomorrow i´m off work but it´s going to be a busy day!

Working Thuesday- Sunday this week also.... So, I think I better go get some sleep now!

Yesterday I went to my dear friend Erica´s birthdayparty but I couldn´t party that much since I was supposed to work 8am-3pm today....
I even slept at Ulrika´s and Anne´s appartment just to be closer to work! But, this morning when I came to work I realized that they had changed my shift without telling me!!!!!!!!! I was sooo angry! They had changed it to 2pm-9pm instead! So since I didn´t wanted to wake Ulrika up (and Anne wasn´t home) I decided to go home and sleep for a few hours instead.... Came home around 9 and slept for about 3 hours before I got up and took a shower and ate breakfast and then went to work AGAIN!!!

ANNOYING AS HELL, yes indeed!!!!

Now it´s time to sleep! Tomorrow I really am working 8am-3pm( I dubblechecked ;)

Well, I´m not a hater as a person but there are some things here in life that I hate and I experienced them this morning!

First of all, I hate it when I forget my earphones at home... I think it´s sooo annoying to listen to stupid people at the train in the morning, (sometimes it´s superfunny to listen to peoples conversations on the train and on busses etc but not in the morning!) I just wanna listen to my music and drink my coffe and prepare myself for work...

I also hate it when my bus is late... And when a whole freaking pree-school has to board that late bus sooooo slowly that I miss my train, ANNOYING AS HELL!!!!


And the last thing I hate and experienced this morning is "SLOWWALKERS".........
Why can´t people just think that" there might be someone behind me that´s in a hurry so maybe I should walk faster and not stop in the middle of the street"..... lol!



Other than that my day has been good.... Worked at the bakery from 12 pm- 6.30 pm... Tomorrow i´m working 7am-3.30pm so i´ll make it to the african dance at 5.45pm YAY!!!!


It´s now time for me to take my dogs for a walk, take a shower and make some tea and then watch "Hell´s kitchen" in bed.... And then of course SLEEEP :D

I just realized that today (9th of november) it´s 3 years since I went to New York to do an internship at a Swedish restaurant for a month!

Oh gooosh! It was sooooo hard at first!
 I was only 18 years old, all alone and it was the first time I left my family and my home for that long.... But, I survived and it made me so much stronger and confident! I had to learn how to take care of myself, how to trust myself and how to deal with lonelyness...
At first I just wanted to go home, I cried at "work" and I cried myself to sleep for maybe 4-5 nights before i got to know some people and when my month was over i didn´t wanted to go home. I wanted to stay in New York and live there forever!

I think that´s why I love New York so much and also feel "at home" in New York , it´s where I had to struggle and it´s where I found myself and learned how to trust myself...

That month gave me friends for life and experience of a lifetime!

Okay, let me tell you a little story!

When Ulrika, Anne and I were in New York (2009) to celebrate my 20th birthday we bought tickets to a comedy club to go and see some stand-up... All three of us thought that we wouldn´t understand a thing (since Sweden and America has different types of comedy etc....)  and that it would be superboring but we were all VERY wrong!
It was soooo much fun!!!! I will never forget that evening!!!!

The host at the comedy club that night was Rick Younger and I loooooved his "Stand-up routine"!
He told everyone in the audience that we could follow him on Twitter and Facebook so I looked him up of course and since then we´ve been talking on Twitter a few times.

Rick Younger is not just a comedian, he is also a singer, producer, writer and an actor!
Right now you can see him in a new movie starring Harrison Ford, Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton and Jeff Goldblum named "Morning Glory" where Rick plays a producer!

I can´t wait to see the movie!

Yesterday I went to Ulrika and Anne to have dinner and play "Bingolotto" witch was alot of fun and the dinner that Ulrika made was supernice!

Annes "boyfriend" (or whatever he is :p) also came to play "Bingolotto" and I actually think it was the last time he did that since he got to see me and Ulrikas "true colors" LOL!!! We scream soooooo much while we play "Bingolotto"!!!!! Yesterday both of us was 1 number away from winning a trip to South africa and Spain and we screamed soooo hard that we cried!!!! LOL!!!! As I said, I don´t think that he will ever play with us again! HAHA.....

After "Bingolotto" we decided that I would sleep over and make lunch for Ulrika when she came home from work today..... So we watched "Borat" and then we went to bed since Ulrika was supposed to go to work today but she threw up during the night so when I woke up this morning I was surprised to see her in her bed, that little sick poor girl :(

So we sat in the sofa all morning (okay until 2.30 pm actually,lol) and watched "Friends" on DVD instead and we also watched pictures from when we were in New York together on her computer... GOOOOOOOOOSH I MISS THE STREETS OF MY BELOVED NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

Now I have to get ready to go to my african danceclass and shake my booty ;)

Today I woke up around 12 pm, so nice! I got up about 20 minutes later and made my mum and dad (and myself of course!) breakfast... After breakfast I took my dogs for a 45-50 minutes walk in the forest and it was soo lovely! It wasn´t cold but it was very "frosty" and quiet (okay not totally quiet since I had music on :P)

When I came home I made fruitsalad for "lunch" and coffe :) So good! Now i´m here at the computer but I actually should take a shower now since i´m off to Ulrika and Anne soon to play bingo and watch Borat after that, lol! Ulrika havn´t seen Borat yet so we have to watch it! We´re going to force Anne to watch it with us ;)

Borat is just sooo sexy!! ;)

Yesterday I went home to my dear friend Ulrika to celebrate her birthday and had a lot of fun!
It was so much fun because there were so many people there, both people I know and people that i´d never met before... It´s always nice to meet new people and not just talk to the same old dear friends ;)

At around 11.30 pm they all wanted to go to the pub nearby Ulrikas place (then it took them about 20 minutes to get ready to go)  but my dear friends Marcus and Markus wanted to stay and I felt that we had such a nice time there so i stayied with them while everyone else went to the pub. Then about 20 minutes later both Marcus and Markus went home and I was all alone at Ulrikas (and Anne´s of course ;) appartment so I decided to call it a night...

This morning when Ulrika and I woke up (yes I slept there so I wouldn´t have to go home all alone in the middle of the night) the appartment looked like a rock stars hotel room.... It was soooooooo messy!! I felt really bad for both Ulrika and Anne I must say! There was beercans and winebottles all over the appartment! People really are like pigs when they drink!

I´ve now seen 3 (or maybe 4) episodes of this new tv-show "The Middle".... I think it´s soooo funny! It´s such a crazy show about a REALLY crazy family!

So what have I been up to lately?

Well, on saturday I worked 8.30am-3.30 pmand then I went to my dear friend Marcus (Well, to his parents house) to hang out with Marcus, Markus(Yes, there´s 2 of them;), Sara and Carro. Marcus, Markus and I had some drinks :D Lovely evening as usual that ended with a taxiride home at 3 am for me...

On sunday I went to Ulrika (by the way, Happy birthday to you Ulrika) and Annes appartment to play Bingo and had a great evening there as well :D It was a nice weekend I must say!

Yesterday I was off work and went to the bank, made some shopping and cleanded my room and the bathroom... So boring dring the cleaning but sooooo nice when it´s done!!! :D

Today me and my family went to the airport to pick up my older brother who has been working for a month in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia... Nice to have him at home! Right now his best friend is here for dinner and some drinks to welcome him home :)

Now i´m going to watch Desperate Housewives, Cougartown and The middle and then I think it´s about time to get some sleep... Tomorrow i´m working at the bakery between 10 am- 6.30 pm :)
